If your employer uses Sage 50cloud Payroll and CakeHR Online Services, you can access your payslips securely online any time on mobile, tablet or desktop.

Set up your access to Online Services

When your employer sets you up for Online Services, you will receive a welcome email inviting you to use the service to view your payslips online.

📎NOTE: The welcome email expires after 24 hours.

📎NOTE: If you do not see emails in the inbox, check the spam/junk folder and also ensure your email security does not block the email address: [email protected]

To access the service, you need to:

  1. In your welcome email, click the Create Sage ID.
  2. Enter your email address and click Continue. The email address you use must be the same one your employer holds in their records for Online Services.
  3. Enter your first name, last name and a password.
  4. Confirm your password, then click Register. An email is sent to verify your account.
  5. In the verify your account email, click the VERIFY YOUR ACCOUNT link. An email verification message appears.

Using the unique web address in your welcome email, you can then log in to CakeHR Online Services at any time to view your payslips.

We recommend you bookmark this link so you can easily access it in future. Or, you can set up the CakeHR app on your mobile device using the unique link.

Access Online Services

  1. Go to the web address in your welcome email.
  2. Enter your Sage ID email address, then click CONTINUE TO SIGN IN.
  3. Enter your password, then click Login.

View your payslips

Once your employer publishes your payslips, you can login to view current and historical payslips. You can also download and save PDF copies.

  1. Log in to CakeHR.
  2. On the main menu, click PAYSLIPS & P60S.
  3. Next to the relevant payslip, click the list icon.
  4. Select View or Download.
  5. To save a payslip, click Save as PDF.

Forgot your password?

If you forget your password, you can reset it.

  1. Go to the web address in your welcome email.
  2. Enter your Sage ID email address, then click CONTINUE TO SIGN IN.
  3. Click the Forgot your password? link.
  4. Enter your email address and click Continue.You will receive an email with a reset your password link. This link expires after 24 hours.
  5. Click the link and enter a new password.
  6. Confirm the password and click Continue.

Set up your Dashboard

When you first log in to CakeHR the dashboard is displayed. You can choose a background image and the widgets that appear on the dashboard.

  1. In the top right-hand corner, click the cogs icon.
  2. Choose one of the backgrounds:

Manage Dashboard widgets

You can select the widgets you want on your dashboard.

The widgets that appear depends on the CakeHR modules your employer signs up to use.

  1. In the top right-hand corner, click the cogs icon.
  2. Click on the widget name and it automatically appears on the dashboard.

Anniversaries widget

To configure the contents of the widget hover on the right-hand side of the header bar to reveal a hidden cog icon.

Clicking the cog icon opens a window that lets you specify the period and teams. Once specified, the widget shows anniversaries for employees in selected teams, within the upcoming period of time.

My Profile

Your profile holds your employee details, as well as personal information. Some details are locked to ensure the details in CakeHR matches the information your employer holds in their payroll system.

  1. On the main menu, click MY PROFILE.
  2. Click EMPLOYEE or PERSONAL.
  3. If necessary, click SAVE.

Company

You can view your colleagues and their work email address in the company directory:

  1. On the main menu, click COMPANY.
  2. To view a colleague's email address, simply click on the relevant employee.
  3. Click CLOSE.
